Mr. Samuel David Nayreau

The Nayreau and Washington families announce, with profound sadness, the death of Mr. Samuel David Nayreau of 9th Street (Sinkor), Monrovia Liberia, on January 27, 2009. Minister Nayreau served as Assistant Secretary of the Dept of Public Works, and later as Assistant Minister when the Department evolved into the Ministry of Public Works. Minister Nayreau is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nancy Washington Nayreau; children, Dalmon Nayreau (Bardeh), and Angela Major (Wantue); step-daughter, Enid Hoff David; foster son, Moses Nayreau; brother, Dr. Jacob Jones (Angeline); 3 sisters, Mrs. Della Williams, Mrs. Henrietta Killen, and Mrs. Troken Powell; Sister-in-law, Mrs. Caroline Washington Brooks; Nephew, Salieu Buster Abraham (Hannah); many other nephews and nieces; several grandchildren; and relatives in Liberia and the United States.

The viewing will be at 10:00 a.m., followed immediately by the funeral at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at the Providence Baptist Church, Broad Street, Monrovia.
