families deeply regret announcing the death of their husband, son, father, brother,
and uncle, Augustus M. Oberly. This sad event occurred on Monday, January 22,
2007 at 6:00 AM (GMT), at the John F. Kennedy Hospital in Sinkor - Monrovia ,
Liberia . Mourning his loss are his devoted wife,
Angeline Freeman-Oberly; his mother, E. Beatrice Barmadia; four children, Osman,
Augustus Jr., Archie and Beatrice Oberly; two grandchildren, Augustus III and
Sando; five sisters, Wilhelmetta Oberly, Wilhelmina Oberly Johnson, Hawa Dukuly,
Gloria Barmadia Siakor-Sirleaf and Johnetta Barmadia Flomo; four brothers, Jonathan
Oberly, Gbonima, Musa and Edmund Barmadia; three brothers-in-law, Dr. Alexander
Johnson, Hilary Siakor-Sirleaf and John T. Flomo; one sister-in-law, Lisa Barmadia;
several nephews, nieces, cousins, a host of other relatives and friends both in
the United States of America and Liberia. Funeral arrangements A
Silent Wake will be held at his home in Wroto Town on Wednesday, January
31, 2007 at 9:00 PM. The
funeral will be held at the Monrovia Central S. D. A. Church in Monrovia,
Liberia on Thursday, February 1, 2007 at 10:00 A. M.
