This sad event occurred on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Emory Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, Georgia. Famatta is survived by her children: Williemina Marie Merkerson and William Konmneh Passawe; Her siblings: Tonia Maima, Wilfred, Andrew, Joseph, Auston, Jacob, Jr., and Rose Passawe-Reid, and a host of other relatives and friends.
