Honoring and Celebrating the
Life and Legacy of Togar Lawrence Randall

With heavy hearts, the Randall, Tarpeh and Greene families announce the untimely death of Mr. Togar Lawrence Randall, who departed this world on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC, USA after a protracted illness.

As an attorney, career journalist, and communications professional, Togar Lawrence Randall contributed immensely to policy formulation and research for Liberia and Africa at large. He served in leadership capacities at the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) Liberia office, the Liberia Media Center (LMC) and as a Consultant of the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning (MFDP). 

Togar Lawrence Randall was a graduate of the Seventh Day Adventist High School in Monrovia, Liberia; the University of Liberia College of Social Sciences and Humanities (Mass Communications with an emphasis on Economics); and the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law at the University of Liberia.   

He leaves to celebrate his short, yet impactful life, his wife, Mrs. Ralphlyn Tarpeh Randall; his children, Justin Gaysue, Albert Randall, Lawrencia Randall, Israel Randall, and Togar Lawrence Randall Jr.; adopted children, Abraham Williams and Patricia Davis; special guardian, Mrs. Bessie Toe Smith; brother, Augustus Pinton Randall Jr.; sister in-law, Stephanie Dorbor Randall; sister, Shelly Randall; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. His father, Augustus Pinton Randall Sr. and mother, Musu Bah Randall predeceased him.

Following this service, the remains of Togar Lawrence Randall will be flown to Liberia for burial.
