Caesar Baldwin Reeves Sr.

The Lord Gives, The Lord Takes Away: may His name be forever praised!
It is with profound sadness that the Reeves and Barnard families announce the passing of Caesar Baldwin Reeves Sr.; quietly to be with The Lord on July 6, 2012. C. Baldwin, as he was affectionately called, was born on June 21, 1931 to the union of Mr John Irving Reeves Sr. and Mrs Keturah Barnard-Reeves, in Fortsville, Grand Bassa County, Liberia.

C. Baldwin served his country as brilliant civil engineer during his life. He maintained a lifelong career at the Ministry of Public Works, Monrovia Liberia (1975- Late 1990s), where he held various positions such as Resident Engineer, Assistant Manager for Training and Road Maintenance Depot, Counterpart Project Manager on Liberia-German Government Project, Chief of the Engineering Department in the Ministry of Public Works, Technical Assistant to the Minister, and Technical Advisor to the Minister - a position he held until retirement in the late 1990s.

C. Baldwin will be dearly missed as he leaves to mourn his passing: his wife, Della Irea King- Reeves; Sister, Abigail Reeves; Children: Shirley Reeves-Collette (Kish); Caesar Baldwin Reeves Jr. (Bessie); Cedrick Windell Reeves (Wanneh); Angela Reeves-Bedran (Sami); Robertetta Augusta Reeves; Kymberline Cynthia Reeves; Denise Peret Reeves; Glynis Y. Reeves; fourteen grandkids, several foster children including Stephen Reeves and Stanley Y. Cooper, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends .
We thank the Almighty God for the memories that will be cherished forever by us: You will always be C. Baldwin “in living color.”
Rest in Peace Dad, Uncle Baldwin, Cousin Baldwin., Baldwin!
