Ms. Frederica Olivia Bendu Richardson


This sudden death announcement of Ms. Frederica Olivia Bendu Richardson commonly called "Mamie Philips" (old dog) of Providence Rhode Island. This sad event occurred on December 20, 2006 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. "Maime" was born in Tubmanburg, Bomi County on April 16, 1968. She was the daughter of Nelly Miama and Lasanah Richardson of Providence, and the granddaughter of the late Frederick and Benetta Johnson of Tubmanburg.

She leaves to mourn her fiancé Mr. Nicholas Whitfield, 3 daughters - Lantega B. Richardson, Roxie E Dunbar, and Nicholete Whitfield: her parents Nellie M and Lasanah Richardson of Providence RI; James and Betty Philips of Atlanta Georgia. One brother, Joseph B Johnson of Bloomfield Connecticut; 3 sisters Mrs. Louise M. Richardson- Cephas of Providence RI; Mrs. Natasha K. Richardson- Bowen of Laurel, MD and Ms. Jennifer Philips of Atlanta, Georgia and a host of other relatives and friends.

Wake-keeping will be held on Friday January 5, 2007 at 7pm at Trinity United Methodist Church at 375 Broad St Providence, RI 02907.

The funeral will be held on Saturday January 6, 2007 at 9am at Trinity Methodist Church, 375 Broad St., Providence, RI 02907. Burial will be at Swan Point Cemetery which is located at 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence, RI 02906.
