Mrs. Violet Thompson Richmond
The Thompson, Richmond and Edwards families announce the sudden death of our Mother, Sister, Cousin, Aunt and friend, Mrs. Violet Thompson Richmond. This sad event occurred during the weekend of March 12th at her home in Ganta City, Nimba County, Liberia.
Violet is survived by her husband, Mr. Noel Richmond, her daughter, Iris E. Quarshie, and son, Lato Campbell; two sisters, Cherry Thompson Williams and Sandra Jarba; three brothers, John N. Thompson, Nyema Thompson and Edwin Thompson; many aunties, including Angeline Freeman and Elizabeth Thompson; several cousins, including, Florence Richards Thomas, Rhonda Richards von Ballmoos, Roselind Rogers Jones, Ralph Edwards, Lucien Edwards, Ruby Edwards Martin, Iris Edwards Johnson, Dorothy Edwards Beyan, Dolores Edwards Togba, Jonathan Mack Edwards, Sam W. Thompson, Wade Thompson Dennis, Beverly Thompson, etc., and a host of other relatives and friends.
Violet was popular, gregarious and lived a vibrant life. She was friends with everyone and people naturally gravitated toward her. She made a lasting impression on everyone she met - Her loss has left a huge emptiness in our lives.
