Robert M. Silla Sr.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely death of our Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Cousin and Relatives, Robert M. Silla Sr. This sad event occurred on 07/03/07 @ 4:40am at the Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia .

Bobbie as he was affectionately called was born in Freetown, Sierra Leone unto the union of Alhagi Mohammed Billo Sillah and Matilda Turner, both of whom predeceased him. His daughter Asha "Sister" Silla and five siblings, Dahoud, Mariam, Iye, Isata and Alimany "Zik" Sillah predeceased him as well.

He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Marie A. Wilson Silla, Seven children (Beatrice Silla, Matilda Silla, Winston Richards, Petra Silla, Robert M. Silla Jr,Chad Silla and Ronnette Marie Silla, four siblings, including Bolou Sillah, Ahmad Sillah, Ibrahim Sillah and Haja Fatmatta Sillah , the Turner and Wilson families, and a host of other relatives in Sierra Leone, London and Liberia.
