Mrs. Dorothy Amanda Yancy Roberts

It is with the deepest regrets that the Monger, Roberts, Yancy and Turner families announce the death of their beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, Mrs. Dorothy Amanda Yancy Roberts. This sad and unfortunate event occurred on December 13, 2011, at her residence in Providence, Rhode Island. She is survived by her four sons, Mr. Arthur A Monger Doe (Vera), Mr. Thomas A. Monger, Mr. Seaborn Urey, and Mr. Joshua B. Roberts (Martina). She is also survived by twenty two grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters, Mr. Sandy W Yancy (Magdalene), Mr. Roland Evans Yancy (Harriet), Ms. Wellingteen Yancy and Mrs. Helena Yancy Holmes (David). She is also survived by hosts of nieces, nephews and relatives.

Viewing of the body/Wake Keeping will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. at Pond Street Baptist Church, 75 Chester Ave, Providence, RI 02907

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 9:00 A.M. at Pond Street Baptist Church, 75 Chester Ave, Providence, RI 02907

Interment will be at the Oakland Cemetery, Providence, Rhode Island.
