Charles H. Russell, Sr. ("Charlie")

The Russell, Hoff, Harvey, Taylor and Kellam families announce the home going of Mr. Charles H. Russell, Sr. affectionately called "Charlie", on Saturday, October 17th 2009 at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware.

Charlie leaves to mourn his loss, his twin daughters, M.A. Russell and Merial Russell, Jane Graham, his son Charles H. Russell, Jr. - Enoch Thomas (Deceased) and loving daughter in law Sharon Russell, his only surviving sister Julia Taylor and family, his loving niece/daughter Nancy Witherspoon-Kellam, Winifred Hoff-Saba, Versia Herrion, Dr. Gertrude Findley-Christian and Nephew, Claude A. Kellam, Alson Saba, Carl Herrion and Robert Osborne - Four granddaughters, Wyattah Carlon, Nasheeda Thompson (Deceased), Suenah Morris and Maggie Kellam. Three grandsons, Theo, Charles Orlin Russell, Charles H. Russell, III. Four great grandsons, Jonathan Carlon, Joaquim Spencer, Jandekai Mills, and Nolan Emery. Also mourning his loss are Mr. & Mrs. Lester Grier, Theresa Togbah, Victoria Diggs, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends in the United States of America and Liberia.
Charlie was employed at the United States Embassy in Liberia for 15 years as a Human Resource Specialist and was employed at the Wilmington Senior Center also in the same capacity in the State of Delaware for 4 years. Before his employment with the US Embassy he worked with Reverend Benjamin Faulkner for several years in various capacities.

Follow I-95 into Delaware and continue into Wilmington.

Take Exit 8A (South) for Rt. 202 - Concord Pike
Concord Pike turns into Concord Avenue
Continue south on Concord Pike/Avenue

After several blocks, look for "Dunn Rite Cleaners" on your right.
Two blocks past the cleaners is Tatnall Street. The Cathedral Church of Saint John is just
beyond Tatnall on your right. Cathedral parking is the lot on your left.

From I-95 North

Follow I-95 Toward Wilmington to Exit 8. Follow exit ramp bearing right toward
Rt. 202 - Concord Pike South.

Continue South on Concord Pike/Avenue

After several blocks, look for "Dunn Rite Cleaners" on our right.
Two blocks past the cleaners is Tatnall Street. The Cathedral Church of Saint John is just
beyond Tatnall on your right. Cathedral parking is the lot on your left.
