Mrs. Magdaline Ava Thomas Sackie known to many as “Mag”

The earth is the Lords, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.  We give Honor and Glory to God for a life and time well spent with us.

The Sackie, Harris, Thomas, Cummings, Brewer, Gibson, Dunbar and Collins families announce with deep sorrow and profound regrets the home going of our Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and a true friend, Mrs. Magdaline Ava Thomas Sackie known to many as “Mag”  who went home to be with the Lord.   This transition occurred during the late afternoon hours of September 4, 2013 at her home in Ashburn, VA.

She leaves to mourn her demise while cherishing her memories a step-daughter, Amelia Nance (Orville), grandchildren, Angela, Paul Jr., Louise, Darius, Eunice, Julie, and Paulika Harris, Altina, Pearl, and Christopher Nance; her siblings, Dr. Rubell Brewer (Anuska), David K. Harris (Carlnette), Louise Fredericks (Archimore), Alfred P Harris, Jr. (Margaret), Maude Dunbar, Alvin M. Harris Sr. (Eunice) and Magdaline Collins (Wilmot). She is also survived by her Thomas’ siblings including Homer C. Thomas, Timothy Thomas, Stanley Thomas, Elaine Thomas Moore (), Famatta Thomas, Bonita Thomas, and David Thomas (Amanda).  Also, she will be extremely missed the most by her dear sister and friend, Marjorie “Lady Pierre” Cooper and family and her Providence Baptist Church Family.
