The Selli, Kollie, Kemokai, Gurley, Tailo, Borlay, Tambah, Mason, Hoff, Davis, and Litchmore families announce with profound sadness the home going of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin Mrs. Kpannah Kpalahun Selli, affectionately called Ma Kpannah. Ma Kpannah departed this world to join our ancestors in the Heavenly abode on December 27, 2012 in Monrovia, Liberia. She lived in Mbabahun, Lofa County and in Monrovia, Liberia for many years. She visited the United States of America in the late 1990s to spend time with some of her children, and grandchildren in the states of Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia.
She is predeceased by her husband of many years the late Gbandi Chief Honorable Taylor N. Selli of Camp Johnson Road Monrovia, Liberia, her oldest son Taylor N. Selli, Jr., her last born son Deawolo Kawala Selli, by her daughter Selli - Njay Kollie, her grandson Anthony N. Selli II, her brothers, sisters, cousins, uncles, aunts, and nephews.
She leaves to be mourned by her sons, Anthony N. Selli of Massachusetts, Francis N. Selli of Illinois, Alphonso K. Selli of New York, Othello M. Selli of Texas, daughter in-laws, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great, grandchildren, and other relatives in Liberia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, America, Europe, and Australia.
