Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Sharpe

The Sharpe, Finley, Berrian, Anderson, Coranda, Campbell, George, Herring, Horace and Wilson families announce with sadden hearts and deep regrets; the passing of Mary Elizabeth Sharpe on June 14, 2012 in her 94 year. She was affectionately known as, Aunty Mary, Ma Mai or Ma Mary.  The sad event occurred at the Fair Acers Nursing home in Media, Pennsylvania after a brief illness. Cherishing the memory of her unconditional love, her constant support, her gentle guidance and prayers are her children: Elizabeth Campbell (Floyd), Annie Herring Freeman, Johnetta Wilson Hurley (Emmanuel), and Arthur James Wilson (Harriet), 15 Grandchildren: Verdell Campbell, Idell Campbell, Gertrude Cooper, Maijane Cambell, Lelia Campbell, Mietta Campbell, Samuel George III(Bobby), Daphne George, Christopher George, Elizabeth (Kemah) George, Martu Freeman, Sudi Freeman-Elliott, William Lewis,III, James Lewis & Niara Wilson.Great Grandchildren, Great-GreatGrandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and a host of relatives and friends in Liberia.

She was predeceased by her father John Sharp, mother Nancy Elizabeth Finley, brother Thomas Berrian, sons Joseph Horace and Sammy David George II and grandson Rubell Horace.  

Mary Elizabeth Sharpe was born to John Sharpe and Nancy Elizabeth Finley in Caldwell, Monrovia Liberia West Africa, on January 8, 1918.
