Mrs. Pandora Landford- Shorrow

The Landford, Dennis, Gongar, Cummings, Howe, Erskine and Shorrow families sadly announce the death of their loving mother, sister, cousin, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and devoted Christian. Mrs. Pandora Landford- Shorrow, “Pando” as she was commonly known by her friends in Rhode Island passed peacefully on Friday July 21st,,  2017 at Adventist Medical Center in Portland, Oregon, surrounded by love ones.

Mrs. Pandora Landford-Shorrow was born in Harper City, Maryland County, Liberia on January 19, 1950, predeceased by her parents Mrs. Wede Dennis-Gongar and Mr. Nyema-Dio Landford.

Mrs. Pandora Landford-Shorrow was former employee of the Liberian Postal Affairs in the 1980s. She is predeceased by her husband. She is survived by her only daughter Euphemia Dennis Sayon-Gbotoe, grandchildren: Alphonso Boayla Sayon,Aaron Dennis Sayon, Thelma Sayon, Gwenlyn Momo Sayon, Fatu Sayon, Fatima Hoff Swarray, Sam Hussein Sayon, A. Samera Sayon and great grandchildren, her brothers Ernest Doma Gongar (The Netherlands), Alexander Kojo Gongar, Mr. William Landford, Augustine Landford. Also she is survived by her sisters: Roselyn Nyaanioh Gongar, Jemima Erskine, Virginia Landford.  Predeceased her are her brothers: Mr. O’ Brien Erskine, Anthony Landford (Arm Forces Of Liberia), Nyenatee Landford (Arm Forces of Liberia), Mr. Daniel Himie Landford.   Predeceased her are sister: Esi Erskine and Patricia Landford. And a host of uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces in Liberia, The Netherlands and USA.

Wake Keeping
The wake service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Gateway Church 13300 North Sam Rafael Street Portland, Oregon 97230.

Funeral Services
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gateway Church 13300 North San Rafael Street Portland, Oregon 97230. Followed by repass at the Emmanuel Church 1033N. Sumner Street Portland, Oregon 97217

Interment: Powell Grove Cemetery, Portland, Oregon
