Mrs. Louise “Muttees” Summerville
The death is announced in her 85th year of Mrs. Louise “Muttees” Summerville, formally Mrs. Louise Goodrum. The sad event occurred on Friday, October 11, 2013, in Geneva, Switzerland.
Mrs. Louise Summerville was former Managing Director and CEO of Liberia Development Corporation, former Financial Adviser in the Treasury Department, former Financial Counselor of the Republic of Liberia in Europe with offices in Geneva, and former Financial Counselor of the Republic of Liberia in the Americas. She was also a Senior Consultant of Price Waterhouse Coopers in Switzerland.
Mrs. Summerville is survived by her daughter Emily Goodrum-Laye, four grand-daughters: Vanessa Murray, Selena Cleo Laye, Maybelle Laye and Agnes Laye; three sisters: Williette G. Summerville Cooper, Magdeline Wanee Brown and Comfort M. Minor; two Brothers in Law: S. Richlieu Watkins and Charles A. Minor; nephews, nieces, grand nephews and nieces including Mrs. Bonnie Deedee Phillips King (Charles T. O. King IV) and other relatives in Switzerland, the United States and Liberia.
Special Rites are schedule to take place in Geneva on Wednesday, October 17th and Memorial Services over her Remains will be held in the United States in late November 2013. Date and Venue are to be announced later.
