Rev. Miata Elizabeth Gray Taylor
With faith in the Resurrection, the family of the Rev. Miata Elizabeth Gray Taylor announces her passing into the nearer presence of God. Her home going occurred at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital Sinkor, Monrovia, Liberia on April 24, 2013. She leaves to celebrate her life, her daughters Natalie Wesley, Loiyeya Harris, Naomi B. Randolph, and Lucretia Kaidii; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sisters Evita Gray Bestman, Ciatta Gray-Gayflor and Isabella Williams Roberts; her brothers Thomas Gray Jr. and many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and long-standing very good friends of many years in Liberia and the United States.
On Saturday, May 11, 2013, the mortal remains of Rev. Gray will be borne to the Gates of Heaven Church for an hour of praise and worship. At 10am on Saturday, May 11, 2013 the viewing and funeral services will be held at Providence Baptist Church, Ashmun Street, Monrovia, Liberia. Rev. Gray will be laid to rest in Sinkor, Old Road following the service.
A memorial service in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania will be announced later.
May she rest in eternal peace in the blessed assurance of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
