Mrs. Edith Chinco Williams
“I will lift up my eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help”
The family of Mrs. Edith Chinco Williams announces with profound regrets the home-going of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. This sad event occurred on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, in Providence, RI. Chinco was born to Charles G. & Julia N. Williams in the Township of Crozierville, Montserrado County, Liberia.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her Children, Mary T. Robertson, Winifred and Isaac Tolbert, Eleazer N. Holder, Jr., Prince Williams, Valdemar Reeves, Selcon & Elijah Barnard. Selcon Holder and Charles Richard Holder her children predeceased her. Edith was a step-mother and foster mother to many. Others mourning her lost are her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her loving sisters, Edna V. Bailey and Facia Demi, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends in Africa, Australia, Europe, and here in the United States.
Edith who was known for her hospitality, generosity of spirit, kindness, friendliness, and ability to love people from all walks of life was loved and appreciated in life and will be missed in death. May her soul rest in God’s Eternal Peace.
