It is with saddened hearts and overwhelming emotional loss that the Williams family announces the home going of our beloved mother, Mrs. Europa T. Williams.
Europa was a mother, friend and confidante to so many. After serving humanity graciously and giving of herself to make our world a better place, she has left this earthly realm to join her FATHER in heaven.
Her beautiful smile and sweet countenance will always be remembered by those who knew her. The world is a better place today because she showed so many the true meaning of LOVE.
Europa joins her late husband Mr. Richard Williams who passed away in January 1974. She will be embraced by loved ones who preceded her including her father, Mr. Preston Williams, father-in-law, Mr. Roger Williams, sisters, Ruth Cooper-Reeves, Rosa Williams and Sylvia Williams as well as her sister-in-law, Onike Musgrove. She will also join her granddaughter Lelah Cooper, son-in-law Buxton Cooper and daughter-in-law Ellen Williams.
Europa leaves to mourn a host of relatives and friends including her children: Mrs. Linda Williams-Cooper, Mrs. Middet Williams-Keys, Mrs. Seahannah Williams-Smith and Mr. Preston Williams III. She will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren: Mr. Momolu Cooper & Mrs. Thelma Dennis-Cooper, Ms. Michuta Wilkins, Ms. Marina Wilkins and Mr. Preston Williams IV. The next generation who came to enjoy being spoiled by “Grandma Europa” will also miss her. However, she will always remain a strong matriarch to her great grandchildren: Diante, Darius, Makayla, Malik and Anaiya Lelah.
Europa’s departure from this earth is a great loss to her nephew: Professor Ted Roberts & his wife Susan. A wonderful mother to those who affectionately call her “Mama” or “Big Ma”, she will be missed by Ms. Enid Thomas, Mr. Modu Thomas, Ms. Mona Bedell, Mr. Judson Addy, Mr. Rouchell Chesson and Ms. Julia Williamson among many others.
“In GOD I shall seek refuge, for HE is Alpha and Omega.”
