Hon. Joseph Henry Deyio Wilson, Sr.

The Wilson family regrets to announce the sudden death of their Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Uncle, Hon. Joseph Henry Deyio Wilson, Sr. in his 81st year after a period of illness at the John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Monrovia. This sad event occurred on Monday, May 30, 2005 at 10:00 A.M.

  • FORMER PRESS SECRETARY TO PRESIDENT WILLIAM V. S. TUBMAN, EXECUTIVE MANSION,
  • FORMER DIRECTOR OF ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCIENCE EDUCATION, MINISTRY OF EDUCATION,
  • FORMER REGIMENTAL ADJUTANT, 17TH INFANTRY REGIMENT, ARMED FORCES OF LIBERIA,
  • STATESMAN, ADMINISTRATOR, DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVANT, REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rebecca J. N. Ware Wilson. Several children, one of whom pre-deceased him. He also leaves to mourn his demise several grand children, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

FRIDAY JUNE 17, 2005:- WAKE-KEEPING AT THE DECEASED'S RESIDENCE IN GAYE TOWN, OLDEST CONGO TOWN,

SATURDAY JUNE 18 2005:- REMOVAL OF THE BODY FROM THE SAMUEL A. STRIKER FUNERAL HOME,

SATURDAY JUNE 18, 2005:- THERE WILL BE ONE HOUR OF WAKE-KEEPING FOLLOWED BY FUNERAL SERVICES AT THE CHRIST THE KING PARISH, GAYE TOWN, OLDEST CONGO TOWN.

SATURDAY JUNE 18 2005:- INTERNMENT FOLLOWS AT THE DUPORT ROAD CEMETERY, PAYNESVILLE CITY.LIBERIA.
