Phillip Benjamin Weah Wolo

The Wolo, Moifolley, Kennedy and Harris families announce the sudden death of Phillip Benjamin Weah Wolo commonly known as “BM 40”. This sad event occurred at the John F. Kennedy Medical Center on Friday, September 16, 2016 in Monrovia, Liberia. He was born on March 12, 1970 unto the union of the late Dr. Alston J.K. Wolo Sr. and Mrs. Williette Kennedy Moifolley.

Ben is survived by his mother, Mrs. Williette Kennedy Moifolley, his wife Sylvia S. Williams, his children: Alston Chelsea Wolo, Ben Weah Wolo and Benetta Jackie Wolo (born on September 19, 2016); brothers: Alston J.K. Wolo Jr. (Gertrude) Michael M. Moifolley, Francis K. Moifolley, Raymond J. Moifolley and Bishop George D. Harris (Musu); sisters: Evangelist Jackie A.M. Wolo, Benedicta A. Wolo, Rose Moifolley, Sita Moifolley Harmond (James A.), Kolu Moifolley, Shirley Campbell, Messa O. Harris, Eartha J. Harris, Jackie Moifolley Willie (Rev Adolphus),and Margaret Moifolley Ballah (Joseph); cousins, nieces, nephews; and many relatives, friends and loved ones.

Ben served in the Special Security Service (SSS) as a Motorcade Commander and later assumed the position of Special Body Guard to the former president of the Republic of Liberia, H.E. Charles Ghankay Taylor, and later became the Acting Chief for Protective Service. He also served as the Senior Inspector of the Liberia National Police (LNP).

Wake Keeping: Thursday, October 13, 2016 @ 8:00 PM at the Moifolley’s Residence in Barnesville-Bend & Stop/Kebbah Road (Body will be removed from A.B. Anderson Funeral Home/Lynch Street on Friday, October 14, 2016)

Viewing & Funeral Service: Friday, October 14, 2016 @ 10:00 AM at Philadelphia Central Church, Tubman Boulevard, Congo Town, Monrovia, Liberia (Adjacent the Total Gas Station and Office of WAEC)

Interment: Friday, October, 14, 2016 immediately following the Funeral Service at the Johnsonville Cemetery

Repast: Friday, October 14, 2016 immediately following the interment at the Moifolley’s Residence in Barnesville-Bend & Stop/Kebbah Road
