It is with deepest regrets and profound sadness that the Wulu Family announces the passing of our dearest and beloved mother, the matriarch of our family, Mrs. Minnie K. W. Wulu, on Monday, September 2, 2013 at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Mr. John N. Wulu, Sr.; all ten children; forty-nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one sister; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Our Matriarch’s home-going celebration will start in the United States and conclude in Liberia with:
Visitation:  Friday, September 20, 2013 from 1:00 – 5:00p.m. –viewing; followed by a program of tributes from 5:00 – 8:00pm at the Calhoun Funeral Home, 23000 Rockside Rd., Bedford Heights, OH 44146. (216-738-0300)

Wake Keeping:  Immediately following the program from 9:00p.m. – 1:00a.m. –reflections at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kaller Wulu-McKay, 22270 Chardon Rd, Euclid, Ohio, 44117.

Life Celebration:  Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 1:00 – 3:00p.m. at the Affinity Missionary Baptist Church, 4411 E. 175th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44128. (216-283-4869)

Repast: Immediately following the life celebration service from 3:00 – 7:00p.m. at the Church.

Africa: Her remains will be taken to Monrovia, Liberia.  Visitation will be on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the Samuel Stryker Funeral Home.  Wake Keeping will be on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Richard M. Nixon Institute (John & Minnie Wulu School System). Her home-going service will be on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Assembly of God Church on Buchanan Street.  Interment follows at the Wulu Square on Capitol Bye-Pass. Repast follows immediately on the school campus.
