Mr.
Franklin D. Yates
The
Yates Family in the United States and Liberia
announce with profound regrets the sudden passing
of their beloved son, brother, uncle and relative,
Mr. Franklin D. Yates of Staten Island.
This
sad event occurred around 10:50 PM on Friday,
January 6, 2006 at the Staten Island University
Hospital. His sun rose November 28, 1948 and sat
January 6, 2006. Frank (Ike as he is affectionately
called) is survived by his children, Jason, Brandon
and Berlyn Yates, grandson, Prince Yates, his
mother Emily V. Yates and a host of brothers and
sisters:

The body will be flown to Liberia at the request
of his mother. Meanwhile, all friends and well
wishers of Franklin D. Yates wishing to make contributions,
may contact the listed persons to send their support
in cash or kind.

All Points South: I-95 N towards New York –
NJ Turnpike Exit 10 (Outter Bridge Crossing –
Toll booth). Stay slightly right after toll booth
to get onto West Shore Highway. Take sign that
says I-278 East Staten Island Expressway, Verazzino
Bridge. Take EXIT 13 toward CLOVE RD / RICHMOND
RD / HYLAN BLVD. Make left on Targee Street at
2nd red light.
Turn
RIGHT onto BROAD ST. Turn LEFT onto GORDON ST.
Turn RIGHT onto HUDSON ST. 27 Hudson St, Staten
Island, NY 10304.
All Points North I-95 S towards New York –
New England Thruway. Take the Brooklyn-Queens
Express or Belt Parkway West to the Verazzano
Bridge. Pay toll and stay right to take Bay Street.
Follow Bay Street to Broad Street. Make left turn
on Broad Street – Right turn onto Gordon
Street, and right turn on Hudson Street
