Ms. Victoria Zankorwon Peters-Johnson

The following announcement has been sent out by the family of our dear mother, relative, and friend Ms. Victoria Zankorwon Peters-Johnson, who passed away on June 7, 2012.

This is to announce the sad home going of our beloved mother, sister, daughter, and aunt, Victoria  Z. Peters-Johnson. This event occurred on Thursday, June 7th, 2012 in Delaware, USA.  She is survived by elders Old Man George, her mother Gormah Flomo, Her four children: Calvin, Delvin, Lainu, & Leyeama Johnson; Her dear siblings: Nettie Wogbeh, Ethel Peters, and Samuel George of the USA, and a host of loving family/friends in Liberia and around the world.

Ms. Victoria Z. Peter-Johnson is predeceased by guardians Glogeh and Goryeah Peters of Kpairplay, Nimba County.
“Vic”, as she was affectionately called, was a graduate of the Booker T. Washington Institute, Class of ’78; she was also a graduate of Delaware State University, class of 2011, with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN).

The USA Wake Keeping (tributes) will be held Friday, June 22, 2012 at 5pm. On Saturday, June 23, 2012 there will be a viewing at 9:00am, followed by an 11:00am memorial service. These events will take place at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church located in Newark, Delaware, USA.

Viewing of the body in Monrovia, Liberia, will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 at the Stryker Funeral Home, followed by burial in Kpairplay Town, Sollay Clan, Nimba County, Liberia, on Saturday, June 30, 2012.
