The Changing Face of JFK Memorial Hospital

Sinkor, Monrovia, April 3, 2017

Today, as I drove down Payne Avenue, something in the distance caught my eye. As I did a double take, I realized that I was looking at one side of the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital (JFK) and something had changed. The old grimy tile wall had been replaced with beautiful green aluminum tiles and new glass windows had been installed. I had to see more, so I drove into JFK complex and found the entire campus undergoing major renovations from the roof top down to the yard. JFK is getting a major facelift and although the renovation is still ongoing, I wanted to capture these pictures of the work in progress.

To keep the dust down, the building has been wrapped

Many buildings on the campus are getting new roofs. This is the decra roof, the good roof.

A Handicap ramp has been added to this building

The new color scheme is green and tan and although it is not finish, it looks good
