MEMORIAL SERVICE For Janet Wede Wesley-Johns

The Johns, Wesley, Howard, Williams, Sampson, Thompson, Dixon-Cooper and Woart Families will host a  Memorial Service in Remembrance of Mrs. Janet Wede Wesley-Johns, the first Postmistress of Harper City, Maryland County, Liberia, who entered eternal rest on December 18, 2014 at the age of 83.

On Saturday, December 19, 2015, the late Janet Wede Wesley-Johns will be memorialized by her nine living  children, Euphemia Johns-Fleming (Gordon Tikonblah), Sam Johns (Hawa), Orita Johns-Adorkor (Franklin), Comfort Jaty Johns-Kendor (Losay), Velma P. Johns-Beh (Nathaniel O.), Rocardia Johns-Jah,  Emma Sampson-Johns, Polee C. Johns,  and Sametta Johns; one step-daughter, Regina Sampson;  twenty-eight  foster children; twenty-three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters: Anne Wesley-Swen (Eugene), C. Klaneh Wesley-Bruce (Jackie) and Olive Wesley; two brothers, Budu Wesley, Jr. and Nathaniel Wesley; one foster brother, Rev. Phillip N. Nyemah; and a host of relatives and friends in Liberia, United States of America, and other parts of the world.

In addition, prayers will be offered in memory of  some very close love ones and relatives of the late Janet Wede Wesley-Johns, who went to the great beyond before her. They include her parents, Rev. J. Budu Wesley and Mary Y. Dixon Cooper; husband, Samuel T.S. Johns, Sr.; two children, Walter Sampson-Johns and Benetta Johns; two sisters, Theodosia Wesley Howard and Frances Wesley; two sons-in-law, Franklin Adorkor, Sr. and Losay Kendor; as well as Muriel John Jones, John Davis, Philip Chump Howard, Jr., Alvin Budu Howard, Lafayette James Howard, and James Sie Williams, among others.
