The siblings of Willis D, Knuckles, Jr., Emma Knuckles Hoff, and the entire Knuckles family along with the family’s Matriarch Roberta Knuckles Kiawu residing in the United States, Europe and the world-at-large cordially invite you to join us as we memorialize with profound sadness and deep regret the passing away of a loving husband, wonderful father, amicable/adored son, dependable brother and reliable family man and advocate, the honorable Willis D. Knuckles, Jr. Willis D, was called home to glory after a brief and unexpected illness on July 28, 2014.
The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 beginning at 2:00 P.M. at the Arlington Christian Bible Fellowship located at 1501 South Center Street Arlington, Texas 76010. Telephone: 817-801-9709.
The Late Willis D. Knuckles, Jr. was the Father and Chief Administrative Officer of the Knuckles family throughout our one world as herein stated. Junior, as he was commonly called by his family, was also a distinguish patriot who served his country with great distinction in several capacities to include but not limited to Former Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Minister of the Ministry of Public Works, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Chief Executive Administrator of the Office of the Vice-President, Republic of Liberia. He was also an acclaimed Sport Enthusiast, Highly Lettered and an Academic Tactician, Prolific Writer, Chief Strategist and Organizer Extraordinaire, Entrepreneur, Humanitarian, Dedicated Public Servant, Devout Christian, Chairman of the Administrative Board Seys United Methodist Church, Careysburg City , Liberia, Beloved Son of Careysburg, amongst others.
The late Willis D, Jr. is survived by his widow Hawa Evelyn Knuckles, three children, Hawa-Ellen Knuckles, Willis D. Knuckles, III (Marie) and Ethel V. Knuckles; his mother Ethel Dunbar Wah; twelve (12) brothers and sisters Bushin Wilson, Gabriel (GK), Raymond, Marie Forko, William, Benedict, Pitman, Emma Burl Saa, Ethel Coomber, Estella, Mawalo and Robert; two grandchildren: Samuel Willis and Nala Myriam; scores of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends in Liberia and abroad. He was predeceased in death by his father, Hon. Willis D. Knuckles, Sr., his brothers George Dunbar and Winston Alonzo Knuckles.
