Service for the late Mrs. Ellen Perry Nyepan

families announce the home-going of their mother,
sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend,
who after a long period of illness went to be
with her Lord on Sunday, August 15th, 2010 in
late Ellen Perry-Nyepan was born in Harper City,
Cape Palmas, Liberia to the union of Ellen R.
Gibson and Isaac E. Perry. Ellen had a passion
for cooking and baking, which many of her friends
will remember her for. She worked at the Ministry
of Public Works for many years. She was married
to the late Gabriel Nyepan and their union was
blessed with one child, Slime or Candy
as she is affectionately called. Ellen leaves
to mourn her loss, her daughter, Candy;
one brother, Isaac E. Perry Sr (Rev Sarah C.
Perry); her other brother Stanley Perry predeceased
her (Anita Musu Merchant); three sisters, Eva
Perry-Blamo, Angeline Perry and Esther Kargbo
(Rev Sam Kargbo); four grandchildren; several
nieces, nephews, grand nieces & nephews
and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held in Monrovia,
Liberia on September 4th, 2010 at the First
United Methodist Church on Ashmun Street. Thereafter,
internment took place at the Paynesville Cemetery.
