CD Title: Running Artist: Eddie Africa Price: $ 10.00 Produced by Gebah Swaray of Swaray Productions / Programmer: Gebah & Duce / Engineer: Big Duce Martinez & Bruce Gatewood Eddie Africa took his boyhood memories from dusty Kakata, Liberia, and turned his talent into an Afro-Jazz world beat that appeals to all nationality. At age 15, Eddie Taylor, AKA "Eddie Africa" played at talent shows while attending AGM and Wells high in Monrovia, during the late 70`s. He traveled to the United States, in the early 80`s to join his mother Mary Kromah and late aunty Cecelia Kromah, where he joined the "African Style Band" in Newark, N J. and play for 11 years. The Band dismantled in 1991, and Eddie turned his attention back to school, where he became a certified electronic technician. Eddie Africa has added to the list of growing Liberian talents in the Diaspora. Eddie now lives in Trenton, NJ, and has been a faithful Christian at the Church of Christ. His long time friend Gebah Swaray, encouraged him to get back into the music and " Running", the title track of Eddie Africa`s CD arose out of that effort. This CD is in memory of those that were killed in the Liberian civil war, and in memory of all Africans, who died in Africa's many meaningless wars. It is especially dedicated to the people of Kakata, Liberia. How to Order To obtain a copy contact
