  • REFLECTIONS OF AN AFRICAN DIPLOMAT By MARTINUS L. JOHNSON, SR. - In this book, Ambassador Martinus L. Johnson, Sr. recounts his experiences growing up in Liberia, obtaining an education in the United States, and ultimately representing his beloved country on four continents. Ambassador Johnson represented the Republic of Liberia for more than 25 years in some of the world's greatest countries as they underwent significant political change: Germany, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait, and the former Crown Colony of Hong Kong.

  • Miracle on the Atlantic Coast is different from many books before it that usually recite the causes and effects of perpetual poverty in Liberia and other developing countries. This book, however, offers a new Vision of Unity, Peace, Equality, Fairness, Justice, Hope, Opportunity and Prosperity for all Liberians. As Liberia reaches 185 years since its founding and 160 years of Independence, the time is now for each and every Liberian to fill our hearts and minds with Positive Patriotism anchored by Love for God, Love for Ourselves as Liberians, Love for Liberia and Love for each and every fellow Liberian. This vision is a Vision of Positive Patriotism.

  • Journey of a Liberian Mining Engineer What you didn’t know about Liberia!” by octogenarian and citizen extraordinaire, Joseph G. Richards!

The family of Joseph G. Richards is pleased to announce the successful launch of his book at a book signing held at Claret Hall in Clarksville, MD on Saturday, January 14, 2012. Story Time

Stories by Phillip Martin

Written by Thomas Harris
In praise of Liberia’s only walking sign board

He is not a Santa Claus
He is a bullshitter with a cause
He is not old man beggar
He has the swagger
To make a town take a pause

Who is this man known throughout the land
Who is this tip top dresser a bullhorn in hand
Payme Weah they say is his name
Bullshitter!!!!! Bullshitter!!!!
The loud chant that depicts his fame

Do son tan nyen mo
Sunday Monday Tuesday and Wednesday too
From Via Town to Dwala and Kru Town sand
Spreading his message like a one man’s band
Across the bridge to areas far and near
Preaching to all without favor or fear
He is firm and frank
But from him there are no denouncements
Only information through live public service announcements

Payme Weah, a ‘bullshitter’, and a teacher
Liberia’s narrator and a non-religious preacher
For decades he has been the poor man’s radio
Live and direct not from a fancy studio
