Mr. Albert Nii Buah Ashong
November 10, 1950 - November 7, 2019
The Ashong, Mars, Sowah, Schall, Attoh, Scott, Diggs, Whern and Gono families are sadden to announce the sudden death in his 68 year of Mr. Albert Nii Buah Ashong of the ELWA Community. This sad event occurred on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 2:00 A. M. while in route to the ELWA Hospital on the Robertsfield Highway.
Mr. Ashong started his career in computer data processing with The Firestone Plantation company in Harbel, Firestone Margibi County, Liberia and later furthered his career with Liberia Data Processing corporation in Monrovia as his company’s Operation Manager when he had become a programmer for that corporation. Mr. Ashong, in years to come also worked for The Liberian National Archives, Umarco Shipping Agency and The University of Liberia where he was retired.
He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mrs. Famatta Mars Ashong, his children Mrs. Albertine Ashong Austine, (Spencer), Mr. Albert A. K. Ashong, Ms. Nora P. Ashong, Mr. George L. Ashong, (Diamond), Mr. Eugene N. Ashong. His siblings: Mr. Eugene Nketia Ashong, Mr.charles S. Mars, Cllr: Charles A. Gono Jr. (Wilhmina), Ms Rebecca B. Ashong and Mr. Harry N. Bright-Davies. He was predeceased by his Father: Albert Ashaley Kwao Ashong, His Mother: Mrs. Rebecca Tucker Ashong, Sons: Leroy Ashong and Ecow D. Ashong (AKA Old Pa}. His Daughters: Lovetta Ashong (AKA Lover Girl) and Alpha Ashong (AKA Baby-Girl). Also regretting his loss are his Aunties, cousins and other extended relatives in the USA, UK and Ghana.

His remains will be removed from the Maureen Capehart Funeral Home in Upper Caldwell at 8: A. M. November 30th and taken to International Church of Monrovia on the ELWA Compound for funeral rites which commences at 10:30 A. M.
Interment takes place at the First Baptist Church Cemetery, Congo Town.
