A time to weep and a time to laugh
A time to mourn and a time to dance

The Collins, Kimber, Freeman, Neor, Davis, Hunter and Baker families announce with deep sorrow and regret, the passing of their beloved mother, sister, grandma, great grandma, aunty and mother-in-law. She was 89 years old. This very sad event occurred at 12:40 AM on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the Ecumen Prairie Lodge, Brooklyn Center, Minnesota 55430.

Lucy Grahie Collins was born August 27, 1930 to the union of High Priest Weanyenne Glee Collins and Dodiode in Rock town’s Kunokudi, Harper District 1, Maryland County, Liberia, West Africa. She was the family’s matriarch and a prominent member of the Grebo community in Liberia and Minnesota, USA.

“Sese Gahie” as she was affectively called by her family and friends leaves the following to mourn her loss: brother, Dr. James K. B. Collins (Barbara) of Cottage Grove, MN, five children: Charles W. Kimber of Crystal, MN; Cllr Eugene M. Freeman of Yeadon, Pennsylvania; John W. Neor of Jefferson City, Missouri; Mercy W. Davis (Paul) of Maple Grove, MN and Michael J. Hunter of Shakopee, MN. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives, friends and colleagues in Liberia and the United States.
