With heavy hearts, the Dennis, the Reeves, the Bernard, and the Brownell families announce with profound regrets the homegoing of their beloved husband, father, brother, and favorite uncle, John Lafayette Dennis. He is the son of the late Gabriel Lafayette Dennis and Thelma T. Reeves-Dennis. This sad event occurred at his residence in Sinkor on Monday April 1st, 2019, John being tragically taken by a heart attack. To mourn his loss and cherish his memory, John leaves his loving wife Sophie Wetu Brownell-Dennis, his brother Wilmot Lafayette Dennis, his daughters Gabrielle Y. Dennis and Janelle M. M. Dennis, his grandson Sebastien Dennis, and several aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in perfect peace.

Anyone who wishes to give a tribute must sign up prior to the commencement of the funeral service on Friday, April 26. The allotted time for tributes will only be an hour, so all tributes must be brief and timely. NOTE: The funeral colors are blue and gray. Guests can wear any shade of blue and gray, or black.
