Frederick Shyntum Ewunkem

The Ewunkem and Spilsburywilliams families regret to announce the early home-going of our husband, father and brother Frederick Shyntum Ewunkem. This sad event occurred on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 4:25 am in Antwerp, Belgium. Fred is the only child to his mother. William Taller and Margaret Ewunkem both of his parents pre-deceased him.

Fred’s journey here on earth started on Monday, May 4th, 1970. His roots began in the African Countries of Liberia and Cameroon and he would later migrate to Belgium where he and his beautiful wife raised a beautiful family. He had completed his work here on earth and was called to rest by our Lord in the early morning hours on Saturday, July 20th2019 in Antwerp, Belgium.

Fred leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mrs. Georgetta Spilsburywilliams Ewunkem, three young sons: Frederic D. Ewunkem Jr., Emile Victor Ewunkem, and Jos Erik Ewunkem, his aunt Regina Ewunkem and cousins (Jude, Sylvie and others) a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.

Fred also leaves behind a band of loving brothers and sisters all of whom are mutually self-adopted from different parents; and a long list of special friends and associates in Liberia, Cameroon, Europe & the United States of America.

The funeral arrangements are as follows:

Viewing of the body: 4:00pm – 6:00pm

For those wishing to travel to Antwerp, Belgium form the United States and other parts of the world, travel arrangements can be made through your local travel agents or websites. For lodging, it is important to book hotels near where the funeral activities will be held.  Those traveling in groups can alternatively use for cost-sharing.
The family wants to note that the preferred color for Fred’s homegoing ceremonies is WHITE.
