Mr. Neikata Jah Jackson (J5)

It is with the saddest regret that the Jackson Family announces the death of Neikata Jah Jackson Sr., popularly known as J5 or Boy Jackson. This sad event occurred on Friday, January 3, 2020, at the Polyclinic International Sainte Ann Marie (PISAM), Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
J5 was a graduate of the School of Pharmacy, University of Liberia. He also attended the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research in India, where he obtained a Certificate in Pharmaceutical Education and Research. His education adequately prepared him to make immense contribution to Liberia and the sub-region. The Pharmaceutical profession was strengthened with his services from 1996 until his demise in the areas of community, hospital, academia and regulations. He was a fellow of the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacist, and Chairman of its Liberian Chapter, from 2011 until his demise, Certified Environmental Evaluator, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), from 2011 until his demise, Instructor-Department of Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry, School of Pharmacy, University of Liberia, 1999 until his demise, Vice Chairman-Pharmacy Board of Liberia, 2003 until his demise, President, Pharmaceutical Association of Liberia- 2003-2010, Member, Joint Faculty Board, West African Post Graduate College of Pharmacist, Member, Medicines Regulatory Committee, Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, Republic of Liberia, Supervisor – IPD Pharmacy- Swed-Relief Hospital, Superintendent Pharmacist - Shree and Sonia Pharmacies.
J5 was an employee of Firestone Liberia where he worked in various capacities for twenty (20) years. He served as Firestone’s By Product and Environmental Laboratory Manager, from 2012 up to his demise.
Neikata Jah Jackson Sr. (J5) was a God-fearing father, loving brother, kindhearted family man, and a dependable friend who touched many lives and will be dearly missed by a host of family and friends.
He leaves to mourn his wife Mrs. Onikeh Smythe-Jackson, Children: Neicuteta Naomi Jackson- Jomah , Nettie Jackson, Neikata Jah Jackson Jr. and Natasha Taryennoh Queen Jackson, several brothers and sisters, and a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. Peter S. Jackson Sr. and Mrs. Josephine Sieh Jackson (Ma Joe).
Funeral arrangements are as follows:
Removal: Samuel A. Stryker Funeral Home, Friday, January 31, 2020, at the hour of 5:00 pm local Liberian time. The body will be taken to the Stephen Trowen Nagbe United Methodist Church located on 13th Street, Sinkor, Monrovia Liberia.
Friday, January 31, 2020, at the hour of 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Stephen Trowen Nagbe United Methodist Church. 13th Street, Sinkor. Monrovia, Liberia.
Funeral Rites or Celebration of life:
Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the hour of 10:00 am, Stephen Trowen Nagbe United Methodist Church on 13th Street, Sinkor, Monrovia, Liberia.
Internment: Kaiser Memorial Cemetery, Brewerville
