With heavy heart s and in thanksgiving the Kannie, Foster, Bracious, Deline, Johnson, Kromah, and the Lavala families announce the home going of our wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunty, cousin Mrs. Bandu Helena Foster Kannie, affectionately called “Aunty Bandu/BF”. This sad event took place on the way to St. Joseph Catholic Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia on the morning of June 4, 2019 around 11:15am.
Bandu was predeceased by her father Joseph Foster, four brothers Robert Foster Moses Foster, Papa Foster, Joseph Foster Jr. and missing sister Hawa Foster who went missing during the war in 1996.

She is survived by her husband Mr. Hansen B.Kannie, three boys children, Abassi Kromah, Lasana Kromah, and Karfunbah Kromah, mother Kpande Musu Foster, brother Zinnah Foster, brother Frank Foster, Brother Varney Foster, sisters Jartu Foster Harris, Easter Sherman, and Maybel Johnson, four grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends of the United States and Africa.
