Mr. Aaron Timma Nyahn

The Nyahn, Jackpueh, David, Beh, Duo, Marvah, Harris, Gbapaywhea and Sondah families of the United States and Liberia announce with regrets the homegoing of our father, husband, uncle, grandfather, brother and cousin, Mr. Aaron Timma Nyahn.

Aaron Nyahn of Lowell, age 59, died Monday October 14, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Mama Nyahn with whom he celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary on April 25, 2019.
Born in Nimba County, Liberia, on December 2nd 1959, he was the son of the late Sammy Nyahn and Menseh Kemah. He graduated from Haywood Mission Academy in Liberia with the class of 1977. After graduation, he went on to work for SIM and ELWA Hospital where his initial title was an accountant.

He went on to further his education at Daystar University in Kenya where he graduated with a bachelor degree in accounting, management and administration. He returned back to Liberia and was appointed the hospital administrator for ELWA hospital, a position he held until he immigrated to the United States in 2003. In 2005, the rest of the family joined him in Lowell, Massachusetts.

Due to his love for learning, he matriculated into the graduate program in accounting and Finance at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where he earned an MBA in Accounting and Finance, while holding down a full-time job. He also attended Middlesex Community College in Lowell and graduated with a certificate in human services.

He was a member of Christ Jubilee Church in Lowell, Massachusetts.

Aaron enjoyed discussing political issues with friends, especially those pertaining to the United States and Liberia. As a business major and a person who was an amateur investor, he kept an eye on the stock market. He was a compassionate, quiet, simple family man who would give you the shirt off of his back. He helped many people in so many ways.

Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his son, Jenkins Nyahn of Lowell; daughters,  Beatrice Nyahn of Andover, and Monnie Nyahn of Lowell; he was the loving grandfather to Maltrice, Maliq, and Maliyah Maliani, Travon, Amara, Aaron Nyahn, Alvina Marvah, Tanya, and Tenyana Duo; brothers, Matthew David of Philadelphia, PA, and Emanuel David of Monrovia, Liberia; sisters, Josephine Diagor and Dormayou Nyahn of Nimba, Liberia; sister in law, Zoe Yalartai; uncle, Obidiah Tarwoe, cousin, Dr. Samuel Nyeon Beh, Sr. of Lowell and many nieces and nephews including, Delphine Marvah.
