Rev. Hne P.S. Nyemah

The Nyemah, Russell, Grice, and Avery families announce, with profound regrets, the death of Rev. Hne P.S. Nyemah. This humanly sad event occurred on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham, Maryland USA after a decade long fight with stroke related complicated health conditions. Born unto the union of Wiley Nyemah and Rachel Todor Russell in Gbololu, Pleebo Sodokeh District, Maryland County, Liberia, Rev. Nyemah received Christianity in his early teenage, and went on to spend nearly five decades of his life preaching and spreading the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. He did that with unwavering commitment and dedication. Rev. Nyemah was a strong advocate for he rights and respect for the dignity of all people, especially the disadvantaged. He helped in the formation of the Marylanders for Progress in the state of Maryland, USA and the National Maryland County Association of Liberia-USA, bringing together Marylanders residing in the U.S. He participated in public rallies and marches organized by Liberian organizations against ills and corruption in Liberia.   

Rev. Nyemah leaves to mourn his death his wife Sata Grice Nyemah, four children-Samuel Vinton, Todor Vinton, Sherylene Grice, and Sheryll Grice; his siblings Sophia Nyemah, Sam Nyemah, Isaac Russell (Patience), Rev. Victor Russell, and Walleta Russell; several nephews- Eddie Russell and Sylvester Nyemah of Fargo, ND, Elijah Nyemah, Jr., Judy Nyemah, Eli K. Nyemah, and Irvin Russell;  nieces- Rosetta Nyemah, Alicia Nyemah, Grace Nyemah-Stephens, Celestine Nyemah- Desuah, Annie Russell Gbarbo, Antoinette Nyanseor, Iatience Cindy Todor Russell; several cousins and host of relatives and friends, including Nyenati Smith of USA, Europe, and Liberia. Rev. Nyemah was predeceased by his brother Elijah H.N. Nyemah, sister Sarah K. Nyemah and beloved foster sister Janet Johns.
