The Yangbe, McIntosh, Johns families and Karluway District, Maryland, County announce with profound sadness the home going of Counsellor Moses Kron Yangbe, Sr., our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and cousin. This memorable event occurred on Monday, December 30, 2019, at his home in Congo Town, Monrovia, Liberia.

He was married to Mrs. Maria Deputie Yangbe. He leaves to cherish his memory: His children: Moses Kron Yangbe, Jr., Bleor Yangbe Jones (Hermon), Quady Yangbe King (Alfred), Pauline S. Yangbe Kwabo (Nathaniel), Yeady Yangbe Kollie (Aaron), Korlow Yangbe, and Gidu Johnson Savice (Emmanuel), James Brown, Charlotte Brown, Edwina Johnson and Edwin Johnson. Grandchildren: Melton Meke Findley, Evon Wamu Yangbe Sekpeh (Cornelius N. Sekpeh), Carbehdy Lovetee Kwabo, Toh McDonald Yangbe, Cynthia Howard, Pauline Odell Henries, Kristian Victor King, Kendall Austin King, Bleor Yangbe, Martin King, Adjetey Obedeka, La’Sata Jones, Aaronlyn Angel Kollie, Aalyn Favor Kollie, Francis Yangbe, Aaron B. Kollie, Jr., and Oliver Menyongar, Jr.. Great grandchildren: Sampson Sieh, Cornelius Nybejou Sekpeh, Jr. Elijah Porte, Emile Hassan, Grace Yangbe and Ruth Sekpeh.

Siblings: Harriett E. “Hag” McIntosh, Lemuel McIntosh, Sarah Maytu Johns Tejan-Cole, Victoria Johns Griffiths, and Eva Johns Haynes.

He was affectionately called Pa, Uncle Boy Moses, Uncle Moses and Uncle Yangbe by his many nieces and nephews including Jeremiah T. Davies, Euphemia Itoka Freeman, Dr. Patricia Jabbeh Wesley, Irma Williams, Pearletta Williams Grimes, Alvin “Junior” Pratt, Margret Daniels, Nanu Tweah Pannoh, D. Samuel Tweah, Norris Tweah, Agnes M. Scott, Korlow Hinneh, Archie Simeon Kyne, and the Kwelebo Family of Doloken, Maryland County.
He had many professional children including Justice Jamesetta Howard Wolokollie, Former Justice Kabinah J’aneh, Cllr. Emmanuel James and Cllr. Osborne K. Diggs, Jr.

M. Kron will be sadly missed by his children, siblings, nephews, nieces, cousins, his many clients and the Judiciary. We are encouraging anyone interested in writing a tribute to do so and email it by 5:00 pm GMT on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 to MKrontributes@gmail.com for publication in the souvenir program.

Removal
On Thursday, January 23, 2020, the remains of Counsellor Moses Kron Yangbe, Sr. will be removed from the Good Shepherd Funeral Home, Airfield Road and taken to the Temple of Justice, Capitol Hill, Monrovia at 3:00 pm.

On Thursday, January 23, 2020, the remains of Counsellor Moses Kron Yangbe, Sr. will lie in State at the Temple of Justice from 4:00 – 5:00 pm.

Wake keeping
On Thursday, January 23, 2020, Wake Keeping will take place at the Eliza Turner Memorial AME Church, 34 Camp Johnson Road from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Funeral Service
On Friday, January 24, 2020, funeral service will take place at Eliza Turner Memorial AME Church, 34 Camp Johnson Road beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Committal
Final committal of the remains of the deceased will follow immediately thereafter at the Kaiser Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Brewerville, Montserrado County.

Repast
Immediately following the burial.
